As time is going faster and we are already in August, I wanted to pause for a minute and reflect on the last few months of 2024. I’ve travelled between Los Angeles, New York and Miami. I’ve been faced with hard decisions, difficult and challenging moments, but I've also been surrounded with Love and support from my friends and family. Even when my plans got cancelled or redirected, what really helped me this year so far, was to see myself as my own home, my foundation.
I finally became the observer of my own self and I was just in admiration for how easy it is for her to just go and do it. Because everything I had planned and diligently worked on this year, the Universe had fun unplanning. And while my type A personality tries to make me feel safe by planning and knowing what’s going to happen, I still love the twist of fate or unexpected surprises / miracles. I mean who doesn't?
I closed one chapter to open a new one. And in my work, I've also witnessed so many people looking for themselves. The world is currently in a place of destruction. This reminded me of one of the first discussions I had in LA with a great woman at Anima Mundi about the three cycles of life: Creation, Preservation and Destruction.
Basically, we all go through those three different cycles, multiple times in our life, but we should never stay stuck in any of them. Sometimes, it’s time to create. Sometimes, it’s time to preserve. And, sometimes it’s time to destroy. Those three cycles are all useful and needed in order to become who we want to be, in order to learn what we have to learn, so that we can expand and keep growing.
So, my question for you is:
How do you create?
When do you feel that you are in your creating mode?
How do you preserve?
When do you feel the need for stability and calmness?
How do you destroy?
When do you feel it’s time to let it go and move on to a new cycle?
Life has not been tender recently, but I do believe in the power of “I am because we are.” We will keep growing by being all together. And, if right now, you can just take care of your family, being there for your loved ones, offering your kindness and compassion to all of them, we could potentially create a beautiful ripple effect out to complete strangers.
And, I know it might sound cheesy but Love is always the answer. Say it loud and clear, I love you. Multiples times. And keep saying it until your last breath.
We need Love. Don’t waste your time in your mind stream that only creates confusion and says you are not enough or something is wrong with you. Just choose Love. You can never go wrong when you speak from your heart.
So, tell her. Tell him. Don’t waste your time anymore.
Above all, tell yourself: I love you.
Much Love,
